About Atul Loke

Photography is life to me. A language of unspoken words. A medium to express myself. It's like a book of images each with its own story. Each face with its motion-emotion and allowed to be a part of stories, faces, life with its varied dimension and yet be there like non-existent.
I am an Independent photojournalist from India represented by the Panos Pictures UK. My work has been published in major international magazine & newspapers. I have also worked with international NGO's on their Projects. Currently showcasing my work in Paris at the Photoquai festival and has already showcased this year in Revela photo festival 09 in the North West of Spain & Fotopub fotofestival in Slovenia. I have also showcased my work at Angkor & China photojournalism festivals. I was one of the recipients of the Young Portfolio Award in Japan. Has been a part of the prestigious World Press Photo three years seminar in India & worked on their projects. I was also one of the ten young photojournalist to work on the book project "New Stories" based on millennium development goals with the World Press Photo. I was invited to shoot "Better City" and "Blue Planet Run - Water Project" book projects.
I am currently working on the personal book project in Mumbai.
